We first acquired Tie from Ed and Char Luthy when they had a herd dispersal along with several other Goldthwaite animals. I loved this big guy the first time I laid eyes on him.

He wasn't around long enough for us to truly take advantage of him and had health issues. It broke my heart to have him put to sleep one Christmas Eve morning. He was a great buck with a very big heart. He didn't have a mean bone in his body and was such a joy to be around. Had I known then what I know now of herbal treatments, I'm 100% positive I could have made his life longer and more comfortable.

Black Tie is a proven buck that produces very large, tall, long, elegant kids that have a very good general appearance, grow rapidly and have strong medials. He has several daughters that have placed in the top 10 at Nationals

 Our very first kids out of him were just breath taking, all the does were well over 10lbs when born and some up to 14lbs. They were all very tall and elegant. At their first shows all his daughters placed one after another and were the tallest in their class. We got 3 their Jr. legs their first shows out. Unfortuneately we lost a few after a bout of pnemonia returning from a show. To date we only have one daughter remaining due to unforseen circumstances. We do however plan on using him again through AI to get back those lost beautiful first kids we loved so much.
